She has now returned to UK shores and is relishing her life as a mother whilst enjoying her return to work - refreshed, energised and ready for the next exciting chapter.

Katy is currently writing a refreshingly honest weekly parenting blog on the hugely popular online womens magazine i-village. She has written for many high profile magazines including Cosmopolitan, Conde Nast, and Hello.

Katy's girl-next-door approach, not to mention winning smile, won her the coveted position as the face of Arm & Hammer Toothpaste. Following her 2006 TV commercial and print campaign, sales of the toothpaste sky rocketed so dramatically that Katy was asked to shoot another commercial for 2007. Again sales went through the roof, and the endorsement has now continued through 2008, 2009 and Katy has just finished shooting the 2010 TV Commercial.

Katy became a household name in the UK fronting the world's longest-running magazine show Blue Peter for the BBC. She made such an impact in her 6 years that on her final show, the BBC received a record response from viewers voting to see their favorite Katy clip.

She went on to host further shows for the channel, including Best Inventions (so successful it got picked up in the states as ABC's American Inventor), the world-famous chart show Top of the Pops (US equivalent: MTV's TRL) and the award-winning Holiday where her love of globetrotting shone through as she road-tested everything from Five Star luxury to Mongolian Yurts with no running water or toilet! Her ease with celebrity interviews is evident - whether chatting with the British Prime Minister, talking music with Usher, or life, loves and influences with Jim Carey. From red carpet, to junkets, to interviews in stars homes - her warm style brings out the best in celebrities. On radio she has also produced and fronted successful shows on Capital FM, London.
