Emma Crosby
Emma Crosby is a key main presenter of Channel Five News. In addition Emma fronts the channel's news and current affairs programmes. Previously Emma co-anchored the popular breakfast news show GMTV.
A diversified broadcast journalist, Emma has spent five years as a presenter with Sky News working on some of the biggest breaking stories including the terrorist bombings of Glasgow Airport which earned her and the channel a BAFTA for best news coverage.
Emma's area of expertise is business and financial news. She started her career at CNBC, broadcasting out of London and New York and later was Sky News' business presenter during the global banking crisis and subsequent recession.
Emma is a very experienced conference host and debate facilitator and has worked with many international corporations on key events including, O2, BP, HSBC, ING Bank, Standard Bank, Novo Nordisk, Greene King, Morse, IOD and Serco.
For the past 5 years Emma has hosted The Africa Forum, in Cape Town, which explores the financial development of Africa. Emma has a keen interest in health issues and has hosted conferences in Paris, Rome and at the UN for International Woman's Day on the rising problem of women with diabetes in the developing world.
As an Ambassador for SOS Villages Emma is involved in fundraising for the care of orphans and disadvantage children in South Africa.
