Born in Berkshire, England on 8th February 1989, Dani Harmer is best known for her role in the number 1 rated CBBC Series Tracey Beaker. Having started her acting career aged 6 in the Pete Townshend rock musical "Tommy", Dani's career has gone from strength to strength. She landed the role of Tracey Beaker at the tender age of 12, and has played the character for FIVE successful series and still continues to make her mark on the TV in her own sitcom Dani's House. The hit CBBC show is a surreal sitcom about a struggling actress; continuously left in charge of her annoying siblings and their friends (including a "baby from hell"). Series 2 and 3 of Dani's hit our TV screens in late 2009.

Dani has had roles in several high profile programmes including Trial and Retribution, My Family, Pie in the Sky, The 10th Kingdom Beast and Touch Me, I'm Karen Taylor. The highlight of her career so far was performing at the Queen's 80th Birthday bash - in the reprised role of Tracey Beaker. The Tracy Beaker TV movie lead Dani to a "Best Actress" Nomination at the Welsh BAFTAs.

Dani has also presented on BBC Radio 7's The Big Toe as well as presented CBBC and the Mighty Truck of stuff.

With a successful TV career and possible films in the pipeline, there is no stopping the super talented young Dani Harmer from becoming the biggest star Britain has ever seen.
